Hello From Georgia!
I made it safe and sound on Thursday and did more in the first 24 hours here than I've done in the last 2 weeks!
While in Savannah we...
~Found each other at the airport via our cell phones!
~Traveled in both of Tiffany's vehicles!
~Checked into our hotel and had a picnic supper on the bed!
~Found our Insane Asylum room with an Ocean View painted on the wall!
~Ventured to the bar on stilts across the parking lot and got drunk!
~Went to bed at 11:30 p.m. and woke up at 3 a.m.
~I wished Tiffany a Happy Birthday at 3 a.m.!
~Showered and got ready for our day.
~Checked out of the hotel at 6 a.m.
~Traveled an hour to Tybee Island to watch the sunrise at the Atlantic ocean from Tybee Pier.
~Walked 2 miles on the beach and collected seashells and took lots of pictures! {Naturally}
~Went to breakfast at the Sugar Shack and had REAL grits!
~Went to the souvenir shop and goo-goo and gaa-gaa'd over the surfboards! {SO in my element}
~Went to the Tybee Lighthouse and climbed 178 steps to the top and then back down again!
~Went and got matching tattoos {They turned out awesome!}
~Stopped at DQ for that Birthday Cake!
~Went home to Tiffany's for a homecooked supper compliments of her husband, my boyfriend, Bobby! {Steak, Chicken, and Shrimp Fajitas}
We sat up talking until 11 p.m. Friday night...I just couldn't keep my eyes open any longer.
I finally went to sleep in my makeshift POLO saturated room that Tiffany had set me up in for the weekend. I was in HEAVEN! And I slept like a baby!
{LOVE ME SOME POLO SATURATED PILLOWS!}
Saturday we trekked up to Macon to have lunch with Chip and Kim (Kim was sick so she didn't make it). But we got to meet the man behind all those demented emails and insane sense of humor! We ate at Chili's in Macon since the Outback Steakhouse didn't open up until 3 p.m. Then we posed for pictures afterwards so Kim could see what she missed...TOO FUNNY!!
Text wars were abundant this weekend. I have never in my life texted as much as I did this weekend. I even heard Tiffany get up Saturday morning...and texted her to see if she was awake!! We had a good giggle over that...we are starting to come out of our denial about needing help now!!
Today is Sunday...
The smell of your skin lingers on me now, you're probably on your flight back to your hometown...
My flight leaves at 2 p.m. from Savannah to Atlanta. I will have a window seat to catch the photo of the Atlanta Skyline that I want. Atlanta has some sentimentality to me...always has. {Goes back to my very first football game...Vikings vs. Falcons, September 7, 1979}
It will be a short flight...seemed like 20 minutes on the way here!
Then connect in Atlanta to fly to Minneapolis and arrive at 5:44 p.m. That's where I'll get some sleep and listen to the iPod (hopefully if my ears cooperate this time). {Thanks MEGAN!!}
I am going to post this today...and I'll post the pictures tomorrow...so ya'll gotta wait for them one more day...but I promise they'll be posted and captioned.
Happy Sunday to ya'll!
A very special THANK YOU to Tiffany and her family for opening up their house to me!! You have made more dreams come true this weekend than you even know girl! I surely couldn't have done it without you and BF...and them kidlins!
Another special THANK YOU to Chip...Dude you ROCK! Thanks for lunch, my new monitor, and don't forget my M&M's honey!! {#1 priority, you'll learn...and I still say...I'd marry you for your sense of humor!}
Love, hugs, and kisses!

{Halloween Pics}
Monique...8 of Diamonds (Cause she'll be 8 in 13 days!)
Yep this Halloween the kids made a haul...but that didn't surprise me. Tom said he took them around about 15 blocks. I couldn't imagine what a haul they would have made if they would have started earlier. Next year, I'll have to take the day off so they can!
And don't you know...Momma got the M&M's...and Peanut Butter Kisses too! I'll be raiding the candy bar bowl before I leave the house this morning for my trip!
Oh yeah...my trip...Only 12 hours to go before I land in Savannah!! Look out Georgia here I come! {Georgia will surely never be the same again}
I am packed and ready to go...well almost...just have to shower and get ready and pack up what I use this morning.
Ok my Best Bridesmaid....I'll see you in 12! Chipster and Kim...I'll see you in 55!
Ya'll have a great weekend...I know I surely will!!
I'll post pictures when I get back.
Love,
TT

Countdown
I’m not talking days anymore either.
I’m talking HOURS.
51 hours at the typing up of this blog post…central standard time.
50 hours eastern standard time.
HOURS until I land myself in Savannah, Georgia.
HOURS until I meet my Best Bridesmaid.
HOURS until I am in the warmth of the Georgian red clay.
HOURS until I see the Atlantic Ocean.
HOURS until the fun begins.
AND the fun WILL begin.
Everyday since my birthday, Tiffany and I have giggled and laughed via webcam and we have gotten pretty crazy together too. I sure hope we don’t get into trouble while I am there. (We do have a backup plan as Chip said he’d bail us out…gives a whole new meaning to Get Chips too!)
I can only imagine the tears of laughter we will share on my visit to her house. OMG ya’ll are in trouble in April…I’m sure of this now more than ever!
And I can’t forget to mention…3 days until Tiffany’s birthday! Oh girl…you have no idea…some special things are going to happen very soon way down yonder on the Chattahoochee! You’re future’s so bright, you better wear shades Shugah!
Our plans for the weekend so far include…
A picnic on the beach (or pier)
A dolphin watch
A dip in the ocean
A tattoo
A birthday party with DQ cake
A photo session
A lunch in Macon (MAKE ON as Gabby says) with her sister and Chip
A few other surprises…
And
A TON OF PICTURES!!!
I'm pretty confident we can get it all done...after all...I'm a Git 'Er Done girl and I'm on a MISSION this weekend...and we all know how them MISSIONS turn out!!
I’ll make sure she gets one of me with my jaw dropped open when I see that ocean and pier for the first time…Don’t let me fall in love…all I’m sayin’!
Have a fantabulous Tuesday ya’ll!!
Love,
TT

Pool Tournament
This last Saturday, I had the pleasure of going down to Spike's for my first ever Pool Tournament and to watch my sister shoot some pool. I was shooting her shoot.
Imagine my surprise when these pictures actually turned out.
Oh I practiced before her match up with the Master shooter.
I had the pleasure of shooting Jay Z. as he practiced before hand. He loved the pictures I took. They are progressive in a way, kind of like a movie.
I took about 200 pictures...but not all of them turned out or made the editing cut.
And I can tell you that this Pool Tournament Virgin will go and watch another one at the end of November.
AND...out of the 64 guys and the 19 women...I actually knew someone...Mr. Telephone Man was there! It was great to see him too!
Oh...and Tessie won that first match against the Master. I was pretty proud of my little sister.
I'm looking forward to just watching next time...and learning even more about the art of billiards.
Happy Friday!
Love,
TT
